chalkboard table DIY.(ikea hack)

chalkboard table DIY.

of course. chalkboard paint is nearly everywhere, in blogs, pinterest...and of course in my home:)
...once you bought the paint you won`t stop (and I bought a whole lot of paint)...
his is one of my favorite projects in my home, quite easy and our girl loves it...
all you need is an old children`s table and of course some chalkboard paint:

paint first time (do not dilute), let it dry, then slightly grind the groove of the first color layer, glaze again and let it dry afterwards...just that easy...

  1. Such a fun idea! I'm sure the kids love it and it makes a plain table look way cuter in your home too!

I am so glad you found my blog! I grew up in Germany (Bayern), and then my family moved back to America! I miss it so much, and I still keep in contact with my closest friends! I am now following your blog, and I can't wait to read more!

  4. Love this idea! I've seen many things painted with that chalkboard paint but never a table.
