spiced orange ginger curd.

When it comes to curd, I.simply.can.not.resist.
So Christmas this time is the season, where  it comes to pass
that I will eat a whole lot of it ...
and of course share with friends and you lovely readers ?

so if you like curd, you totally will enjoy this tasty Christmas variant :

Spiced orange ginger curd

Ingredients:
(for 4 medium glasses)

300ml fresh pressed orange juice, 30ml lemon juice,
150g butter, 300g brown sugar, 6 eggs, 3 (1,5cm)
slices of ginger, spices: some cinnamon,
carnation, anise and orange zest

proceed:

melt the butter in a pot and add the juice, sugar and spices.
Heat it 5-10 minutes on medium heat.
Whisk the eggs and add them (still medium heat),
best way with the use of a sieve. Stir well with a whisk until
the masst hickens. Avoid to cook it ( this may ruin the egg mass).

Take out the spices,  fill in some pretty jars
and you are done !

To make it look extra pretty you can add some sprinkles of
orange zest and maybe edible glitter (Yes! christmas time, glitter everywhere) on top.

You are done ----> Enjoy !
