felt christmas calendar DIY+ free printable/ Filz Adventskalender.

It´s that time again, right ... advent is knocking at the door and I hope you already feel a bit
christmas spirit ... if not let´s just start with some cozy advent crafting ... :

like every year in this space now our this years christmas calendar. This time made of felt, as used
to with little houses;) and with light chains a branch and some greens, paired with a free printable
( Download-Link below) from a 2015 DIY which is still quite useful for a lot of calendar projects...

Let`s start:

You`ll need- craft felt sheets, T-shirt transfers, Download of the free printable -> here, a solid
branch, led lightchains, a sewing machine/ or a hotglue gun and optional some greens

Messure the distance between the lightbulps and cut 24 felt stripes in this width, cut a wavy edge
at the end of each stripe. Now fold the stripes as seen on the picture and close the edges on
the sides. Now sew/ glue the rooftops, if you sew it with a sewingmachine you can simultanous
sew it as a chain.

Now print the Free printable on t-shirt transfers and proceed like the instruction of it tells you,
cut and iron the numbers on the felt houses. At the end you have to cut tiny holes into the
rooftops and fasten the housegarland on the lightchains and this altogether on the branch
with greens, search a pretty place to display it...

That´s it. and I like the calendar a lot, it´s reusable and just simply looking great !

It´s also filled now ... so it can begin - we can`t wait for you December!

christmas village calendar DIY with paper bags/free printable/ Weihnachtsdorf Adventskalender aus Brotzeittüten.

(Post in English und in Deutsch)

as usual, or maybe it already has become a little tradition,
I would like to share our this year`s DIY christmas calendar with you.

this year we made a small christmas village for Emmis room,
which is lit with a light chain.

and this was really simple!
Maybe you remember our last years calendar?
this time round I used these printed paper bags allover again,
just placed it on the shelf and filled it.
really easy, but quite beautiful.

FREE DOWNLOAD HERE !

so, the excitement rises and Emmi already curiosly jumps up and down
infront of her little christmas town.

we can`t wait for 1st December to come!

summer butterfly glas dome DIY/ Sommer Schmetterlingsglas-DIY

(post in English und in Deutsch)

My Girl Emmi loves butterflies, which girl doesn`t ;)...

and now and then we sit together with a lemonade and
browse pinterest ( I love her for beginning to share this with her mama!)
to find some new crafting ideas we can try out together.

so I stumpled across this beautiful DIY from Seidenfein.
and because Emmi wanted her butterflies kind of "still flying"
we created this simple butterfly glas dome together.

And because of the wire the butterflies still move and wiggle
which is fun for the kid and looks so beautiful !

Mein Emmi-Kind liebt Schmetterlinge, naja welches Mädchen nicht, was;)!

Proceed/ So gehts:

---> Prints are free printables from Seidenfein Blog

If you don`t have a glass dome, I could imagine it
also looking pretty in a mason jar or in other glas vessels.

Enjoy your summertime everyone! See you !

Genießt eure Sommerzeit ihr Lieben ! Bis die Tage!

Merry Christmas !

Merry Christmas everyone!
Not many words, just a free printable card that says it all !

Be blessed !

(P.S: a Mini DIY-
I printed those cards for friends and family, added a tealight and put it altogether into this candlebag)

christmas paper bag calendar/ candlebag DIY ( free printable).

(Post in English und in Deutsch hier )

Advent is coming soon! And like every year there will be a simple handmade calendar!
And a freebe for you;)...

so let`s start and make this cute printed paper bag calendar :

You`ll need:

paper bags ( 10cm x 21 cm/ ca. 3,9x8,3 inch, or a tiny bit wider), old washi tape, graph paper,
glues, some clips and an inkjet printer

next----> download the images for free:

 1) houseprint  and 2) numbers

let´s get started:

print the house print on the paper to find out the proper position to (next) place the paper bags
on its proper position. fix the bags with some washi tape, because it´s easily removable.
When fixing do it like shown in the picture, the upper side of the paper (later the houses rooftops) need to be fixed a bit more, that there won`t be any paper jam happening wile printing.

now print on the bags. remove the washi tape and let each print dry, in the meantime you can fix the bags again on the paper, do it on repeat 12 times, until you have 24 printed bags ...

now print the doors and numbers, cut them out and fix them with glue on each bag.

if you don`t like to use my print you can also just be creative and draw your own house versions on top of your paper bags.

now you only need to fill the bags, fold the rooftop and arrange them with pins on a thick thread
or just place and arrange them where ever you like ...

what i love most about these bags is that they are absolutely versatile,
you can use them also as cute paper bag lights and for Christmas wrapping.

can`t wait for December the first !

Happy calendar crafting everyone !

this years christmas calendar.

Hello there,
I´m a bit in a hurry...
how in the world can it already be December ?

ok.
so let´s share this years calendar.
because we love some traditions around here...

this year I looked for a quite simple idea (suprise:),
and this one really is.
just little, easy folded houses that you can fill and hang...
and to make it even easier you can also use
my free printables belo, I did them anyways,
so why not share !?

free printables ---- > here !!!

Let´s start

cut out the houses and the doors on the outer line
then fold the houses like shown below (1,2,3)
.

(4) close the edges by glueing or taping
and add the doors/numbers with glue ...

that`s it- done in
ready to fill !

now you only need a pretty garland or chain of lights
and some clothes pins...

pretty easy, huh !?

Have fun everyone !
